My doctor told me every 10-15 mins move your legs around like your shuffling them for about 45 seconds each time you do it and it helps keep blood clots down I had a 3 hour flight from San Diego to Houston Texas and never got out of my seat just did what the dr said and I was fine . Wish y'all the best of luck and a safe trip . : )

I have a 12 hour flight LA to Auckland haha ... The drs are giving us blood thinning meds and I have cute pink compression socks. We've upgraded to premium economy so we have the room to get up and walk as offer as we want ... Now I'm worried about the gas - is it stomach gas or butt gas? Lol

Auckland !! - well I guess you definitely win the prize for longest trip home. I grew up in Melbourne and I've made that long trip a few times so I DO know your pain !! - I'm so curious, you have to fly all the way here for this surgery ? is it because it's so flippin expensive there ?? (yeah, nosey that's me) Cheers !!

Haha I hate doing the flight home (was born in Toronto) but not being able to eat for 12 hours whilst smelling the lamb shanks was hard! The one time I fly prem econ and I couldn't enjoy the cuisine lol .. In Nz it would of been $17,000 and with the surgery in Mexico 6000 (single incision) plus stopping In LA for a few days either side of the surgery hotels & shopping I still saved about $6000! Plus the drs in Mexico do as many surgerys a in a week as a dr would here in a month or even more ... So I felt like I was in good hands

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
