I recently posted about having to gag down my Protein too. I finally settled on premiere (I have a ton of Unjury but only like chicken soup) from costco. I spent a long time till I came up with ways to kill the taste. One T of creamy Peanut Butter added to the chocolate lets me get that down and a frozen banana added to the vanilla works well. Oddly enough, I was a huge Water drinker before and now struggle to get my liquids in. The is a wonderful and very weird journey...

My plan had me drinking carnation instant Breakfast (sugar free) with 2% milk and that was much more tolerable than most Protein Shakes. I'd add a tablespoon of Protein Powder to increase the Protein but it didn't mess up the taste. I also drank slim fast 321 shakes which I liked more than the standard Protein Drinks.< /p>

If you are okay with having more calories Naked and Bolthouse make drinks that are 30 grams of Protein for about 400 calories.

I've found that the Isopure drinks are tolerable if I drink them in a certain way I have a little 1oz shot glass. I set an alarm to go off every 10 minutes. It goes off and I do the shot and follow it with Water. Sure it takes like 3 hours but I don't have to deal with the taste. The isopure's are 190 cal for 40 grams of Protein. .

My favorite so far is the New Whey brand - they are available at Walmart for a dollar less per drink than at the Vitamin Shoppe. I mix the vile with a big glass of ice Water and drink on it for several hours. I believe they are 42 g of Protein for around 180 calories - not too bad. There are several flavors but the fruit punch and the grape are my favorites - they taste mild in the ice water and are really refreshing.

Isopure PROTEIN helped me just stay away from grape frosted but the ice tea and apple melon are good..

I just bought nectar protein!! The Roadside Lemonade flavor. I mixed it with tea and it tastes like an Arnold Palmer. I love those. It mixes really well and doesn't taste chalky at all. Other than that, I've like Isopure too. It's clear and tastes much better than milk based Protein drinks. I hate protein too. ????

I can't stomach anything milky or replacement for milk...I use Protein to go....it's only 2.5 oz and 28g of protein. I drink half bottle of Water then pour it in....it's like having a drink....II started adding them to my morning smoothies which I use Dr Smoothies mix (mango) ice, fruits if u desire....together the one drink total 53g of protein....I buy the dr smoothie at my local ballys that has a smoothie bar....oh I forgot I also add 2tbsp of flaxseed (grounded) bought that at te Vitamin store....the dr smoothie mix gives me about ten smoothies and cost about $22....the protein to go is $36 for 24 and the flaxseed grounded is $21 for a lb bag....I have a second protein to go in my water and total over 70g of protein a day.....BTW I tried the Protein Shakes from Walmart and others....lets just say I must be near a bathroom if I ever try that again

The best Protein powder for me is the Chike brand. They also make an Iced coffee flavor that is delish. I will be able to drink that once again someday because it does have caffeine in it. I rely on the Vanilla flavor & add what I want in it. I did a lot of experimenting before my sleeve so I would not end up hating the powders.< /p>

I absolutely hate them!! They gave me a bucket worth of Protein Powder only to discover they’re chocolate flavored 🤢 ever since I got my surgery 1month ago I started hating most sweets (not including fruits) and especially chocolate 😵 I force myself to drink the Protein they gave me just because I hate wasting foods and drinks 😭

Premiere Protein has a lot of flavors and 30 g . A bit sweet but easily watered down or added to coffee etc. vanilla is least sweet and caramel is good!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
