You know, I saw this really naughty banana in my Quest for Happy Smilies, and I must say...I don't know if I'm scared or offended, or maybe a little of both?? :cool2:

Will do. Now I just need to find a Der Wienerschnitzel and we'll be all set.

Pssh, who needs birth control when you're depressed? That's control enough, I tell ya. :) I'm lucky my husband loves me, that's for sure. Because if this marriage was based on sex, it would be O-V-E-R....FOSHO! :cool2:

Sorry ladies driveby... hope everyone is well. My new position at work keeps me busy with more paperwork. Yeah. Less time for puttering around on the PC. Boo!

Munch and Jaime... so nice to SEE you ladies! =) Munch... awesome difference missy. Woot! WTG!!!

I am -5 for the weigh-in this week. Woot! Exactly 300. Stupid twoterville keeps playing with me. Grrrr.

I scheduled another fill for next week so he can re-add some of what he withdrew after I couldn't swallow Water. Hoping he will not charge me the full $150 for the re-fill.

Who needs birth control when you're depressed and not living with your husband? She only put me on it because I was not regularly getting my periods.....I am not sure if it is worth it because of the food cravings. I have been eating like a pig all week despite the fact that I still lost weight.

I hope he doesn't charge you the full $150 either. Unfortunately, my fill doc does. He even did after HE measured wrong because there was an air bubble in the syringe and he filled it too full and had to unfill me a few weeks later. I'm telling ya, he's greedy!! I hope yours is better! (I guess it is still better for me than having to pay airfare to fly to Colorado...but if I had one under flouro my insurance would pay for it, so I don't understand what the big deal is...)

I have looked at it and last week started entering stuff, but then we went to the cabin and now it has been a week. I have to start again. My fat calories are always high and I am not so sure as to why. I will look more closely. Still kinda gettin' the hang of the site.

Deb, Just stick with it! You'll do fine. I am now using it first thing in the morning to plan my meals for the day. My goal is the 20/40/40. It's a lot harder than it seems! ARGH! AND I am so sore from doing the BFL lifting of my arms! Yikes!

My mom had a cancerous mass that did hurt-for five years. That is why I would rather be safe than sorry.

You're smart, I wouldn't take the chance, either!

This peanut agrees with mom. Five Years?! YIKES!

My mom was told that she had inflamation and not to worry, her doctor wouldn't even give her time off of work (she was having terrible pain when she moved or lifted her arm) she pressed the issue as well and they found a malignant tumor.

I'm so sorry Mal!

I went to the Library again last night looking for the BFL book, still out. I think I will just buy it tonight or at least take a good look at it. I want to join in, but I might be a bit behind...I'll let ya know. Sounds like you three are doing a great job with it! Keep it up! I am impressed!!

Oh, yeah...I FINALLY have an appointment for another fill!!! OMG, I hope this one gives me something!!!

Take care Banditos!

It's not that hard, it's doable and my daughter has joined me! She's already lost 2lbs! She's so devoted! I hope your fill is good too! Don't forget to ask if you have a 10cc band or a 10cm band.

Ok, hopefully this works since I am so computer/digital camera savvy. (Actually I am pretty digital camera savvy I just hate the one I have right now). Anyway, my aunt and I were looking through pics tonight on my camera, and she commented that she couldn't believe the change in my face from the pics from my friend Mollys wedding (which was shortly before I was banded in November. So here goes.

Honey! I wouldn't have ever recognized you!!! You are absolutely beautiful! You looks young and fresh and hot and sexy and gorgeous!

And for you Puff Mini, new pics of my completed tat. The poem is really not crooked on the bottom, it is just the curve of my back that makes it look that way in the pic.

I love your tat! The poem is so nice! You're a brave brave soul!

Anyone who decides they want to join the BFL challenge along the way....is more than welcome. Adork...your questions are welcome whenever you are ready. I highly, highly recommend that you take a look at the bfl.com website and read the book if possible.

When is the next RR get together? I must schedule it, or there is a chance I will doublebook.

Okay Girlfriend, plan our October date! Give us a couple of dates and we can figure out what works for us!

I got my upper body BFL workout in this morning and I have had 3 1/2 meals so far with a Protein and good carb in each one. I am going to try and get a Protein Shake in before bedtime.

How are the rest of you gorillaz doing?

2 more days and then its a Free Day...YAY!!!! (Sunday for me)

I am looking forward to the FREE DAY! Sunday for me too! I've had my 4 meals today and I am done!

We're tentatively scheduling an RR get-together for the night before my surgery when I'm in town. Tuesday November 4th. Dee said you usually meet around 7p? I'll have my mom with me, but I'd love to meet up with whoever can make it!!!

Yes Maam, 7pm at the Red Robin at Arapahoe and I-25 on November 4th

Cool Beans. I have that one on my calendar and I plan on attending. Just wondering if anything is going on for October? I'm looking forward to meeting you Chicka. RR night is always very fun!

Cool Beans! You'll be there!!

I'll be on my pre-op low-carb diet, so I'm not really sure what I'll eat! And by that time I'll have quit sodas, so I may just end up with Water and a ceaser salad - but I'll be there with bells on!!!

Also, I haven't read anything about an October get-together.

Easy Breezy Girl! The Ensenada chicken Platter is what we all get, order it with regular dressing and no tortilla strips on the salad. Go to their website and you can check everything out. They have several meals you can eat on Low Carb.

Well, I saw Dr. K today, along with those two medical students or residents or whoever they are who just follow behind him and don't talk. My vein in my arm sclerosed from the IV medication during surgery, so it is no big deal. I can apply warm compresses, and it should go away eventually.

Lifesaver, we're meeting deboregon at Great Atlanta bread Company in Aurora Town Center if you want to join us. And yes, let's plan an October RR night for sure!

quote]

Sorry about your Ouie, What time were we going to meet at Atlanta Bread Company?

Good Morning All: I wanted to weigh in for our Halloween challenge. I didn't lose last week but I did really good this week. I lost 7 pounds.:cool2::)

quote] Good Job! Congrats!!

Good Morning, everyone!

Well, today is my one year surgiversary. I can't believe that a year has past. I am still holding at an 88 pound loss and have 22 more pounds to go; but, today I am celebrating my acomplishments and keeping my eye on the eventual prize. I'll get there!

Thanks for all of your support along the way. I've been posting here for 14 months now, I think. You folks are the best!

Happy Happy Bandiversary Shelbi! You're the BEST! AND MY BFL BUDDY!

Just a drive by...

Hubby has a fever (102) praying that we dont need a bag. On a plus he farted! Move over Dee...just kidding. No results yet.

No loss this week. Duh.

Dr K and Tom seem to think that I pulled a stitch out along with a chunk of muscle and that has caused the pain in my stomach and in my back. Hopefully all will be better soon.

I am stressed to the max and am crying at every little thing.

This sucks. Plain and simple.

Ouch!!! That's horrible! I bet that hurts! I always fear that I'll flip my port! What is the solution? AND I don't want to be always remembered when someone has GAS!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your arm, ouch! I'm glad it will go away though and isn't something more serious. I am right here in Bandster Hell with you my band sister. This too shall pass :w00t:

Bandster Hell WILL pass and you'll be feeling much better in no time! When is your first fill?

Thanks Shelbi! I am sure that I saw some ants crawling faster than my run, but I didn't stop! Heck I think I was running inplace for a minute...THAT'S how slow I run!!! Anywhoo 35 minutes done!:w00t:

Reminds me of me when I'm swimming -- elderly men with walkers are walking faster than I'm swimming!

Munchi, I LOVE Superbad. I know I shouldn't love Superbad, but I do anyway. In fact, we watched it for our Christmas Eve family video. Yes, we're that kind of family. And I am an eighth grade boy wearing a middle aged professor costume. What can I say.

I had my test this morning, and aside from wanting to barf, it was fine. Won't know my results until Monday though.

I am going to see Lisa Lampanelli tonight. If you know who she is, you're probably gasping right now to hear that she's performing in Utah. If you don't know who she is, that's probably for the best.

My daughter always says, I'm a 13 year old boy!!! That's bad! I hate the OGTT! We created a Breakfast for our pregant moms at the Village Inn across from the hospital (years ago in Albuquerque) -- they had to eat a certain breakfast and there were just enough carbs in it to do the test! AND not one ever vomited! When testing our Mom's for gestational DM, they often vomited after having to drink that glucola. The breakfast is more realistic. Who is going to go around drinking glucola? NO one!

Hey, I have been thinking....(never a good thing....)

What if, like a year from now, so we have time to plan and save, we have a get together where we all meet somewhere for a bandito/girls weekend at a spa or something? Wouldn't that be the bomb?? I think it would be awesome if we could all get together in person and hang out. We could watch Superbad and drink wine! :tt2:

I think that is a grand idea! Let's do it!!

No cancer!

Yippee! The best news I've heard all day!!

Ok everyone-WE MUST STOP DEE THE HORNDOG!!!! Probably even the talk of der wienerschnitzel was turning her on!!!

Yes, it's getting ugly Munchi!!! Der Wienerschnitzel is such a turn on!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
