Lap~WOW! My heart went "pitter patter" watching your slide show! I finally made it downstairs to my office. Lazy day for me!

shelbie~How was the Bday party?

Mini~I have a busy week next week but I would love to meet up with you and Ms. Dee, if I can. I live oh, so close to the surgical center. I'll see where and when you gals are meeting and try to make it!

When Buster took off, all I could think of was "he's gone"! When I finally caught up with him, I just called him a goof ball and gave him a big hug. The lady that caought him said that he stopped at the street and looked for traffic bwefore he ran accross, isn't that funny. when I got home, my hubby said that he couldn't tell that Buster ran off by the way I was hugging and lovin him. I could never be mad at my Buster. He does no wrong in my book (I know).

That would be awesome if you could come! Oh, that Buster. What a scamp. How cute that he looked for traffic. Smartie pants.

Mal, what's close to your house? I know there is, The Crab Shack, Red Robin, Johnny Carino's near the hospital. Then the Outback on the opposite side of E-470. What is near your place on Smokey Hill?

Mini, I could pick you up and take you in my car, so that you wouldn't have to worry about getting lost... if of course, you trust my driving!

You might want to check with Munchkin first - since she had to take that ride to her hotel with me. I even brought her a pillow just in case I decided to "burn rubber" out of the parking lot!

That's right, Ted Montana's Grill. My daughter went there. Maggie Moo's is like Cold Stone, so we better stay away from there too!

Another bander friend of mine told me about the Cookie place! ARGH! I went! AND I had to buy several! The good thing is that I ate a couple of bites and then drowned them in the sink. BUT I sure enjoyed those bites!

Yes, lets stay away from the ice cream and cookies! I didn't know Maggie Moo's was ice cream...LOL, oh yeah we have a Cold stone, an islander type place, I think it's called Rumba??, Qudoba, a couple coffee shops and of course the ever so evil fast foods, I won't mention them.

Jim and Nick's is my oldest son's favorite place. He will eat a ton of those cheese cornbread things?? He used to drive through there at least once a week.

I think a new seafood place opened up too.???

As long as he promises to tell us all how wonderful we are!

Sure, I'd love to meet him!

I love Rumba's Jerk Chicken! Yummy! AND the portions are huge, my daughter and I share one meal.

Now that I know you like Jim and Nick's, I'll have to be careful not to be spotted there -- eating any of those Nachos!

Red Robin?

How about July 16th or 17th?

Peeps, give me some feed back!

Can we do the 16th? I leave for vacation on the 17th and really don't want to miss seeing you all.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
