Inactive tb and gastric sleeve surgery

Hi my name is Stacye and I am scheduled for gastric sleeve surgery but I have inactive tb and was wondering if this could cancel my surgery?? I can't seem to find any info About this.

As long as you are cleared for surgery by your pulmonologist, I don't see why.

I'm assuming that you've tested positive sometime in the past or did you actually have an active infection?

Yes I had a positive test in 2010 and was sent to have a chest X-ray which everything turned out to be normal and I have never had any symptoms of the tb.
