Well, base on what I read, everyone seems to be in the same ballpark. So... don't worry and keep on working.

Also, I don't believe lbs is the way to compare one to another. % of total weight lost would be a more accurate comparison (I believe) as those who start at a higher weight tend to lose more.

No Pre-op diet (clear liquids 24 hrs before surgery) and I'm 2 weeks post op today.

Initial consult 1/21/13 - 331 lbs

Surgery 2/25/13 - 227 lbs

3/10/13 - 300.6 lbs

So total loss is 30.4 lbs (26.4 since surgery)

Looks like we are on similar schedules. I was cleared for light exercise. Dying to ride my bike, which has been sitting in storage.

Sounds like it. I can walk a bit, being off my med's (several autoimmune diseases) has made it really hard to exercise. I can grind some med's but not all. I'm getting there slowly but steady.

I was sleeved on 2/7. I am feeling great. Most days I forget I ever had surgery, until I eat a bite too much then I remember! I have been on regular foods for a week now. Starting weight 252; weight today 222. 30 lbs gone for good!

I was sleeved on 2/19/13. So far I have lost 26 lbs. But 10 of those lbs. were from the pre-op diet. I'm stalled right now.

I was also sleeved on the 19th. I lost 10 pre op and 13 since then. I stalled for 8 days before starting to loose again. Its going slow, but its going!

Ok, I will quit being discouraged about stalls. I was sleeved 2/14. I had my huasband take measurements on 2/10. As of this morning I have lost 8 inches in my waist and hips. 3 in the waist and 5 in the hips. Yipeeee!!!!! I am still in the same size jean, 20, but very loose. Just not quite an 18 yet. Oh yeah 254 on 2/7, 228 this morning.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
