399!

  • Popular Post

I know 399 still seems like a lot but I am very happy!! I was 475 when I started this journey in September of 2012. On my date of surgery 1/28 I was 450 and as of today I am down to 399!! There were times in the beginning I didn't think this was a good idea, but I am at the point now where I am getting into a rhythm and am starting to make better choices on what I should eat. It seems I can handle almost anything in my new stomach so far with what I tried except mashed potatoes, I've tried them twice each time I get so sick. I still can't have bread, pasta, rice, or steak for another 3 months but besides that my doctor has given the go ahead on everything else. It's still hard for me to tell when I am full due to eating to fast, but I am learning and getting better.
