Has anyone heard this? I went in to see Dr Kim today and the insurance lady said I would have to use Baylor Trophy Club because Forest Park is closing. I was shocked to hear that. She said he wasn't scheduling anymore surgeries there for that reason.

That doesn't seem right. I just had surgery there on the 7th, and it looked like there were plenty of patients. It is a fairly new facility, so I can't imagine it would shut down so quickly. Perhaps your insurance company is no longer doing surgeries there for some reason?

It didn't seem right to me either but that's what she told me. It wasn't anything to do with my insurance, she specifically said it was "closing". There were tons of people there when I had my ECG and it was a great facility so I was surprised.

That is crazy. I did a search for news about them, and the only stuff that came up about them closing was this thread. And I found several recent job postings, that were put up this month. But I guess you never know, this is a tough economy.
