I am 3 weeks out from surgery and after the first week I started being hungry. Can someone tell me if they have found a solution for the hunger. I have tried several different Protein shakes' date=' I eat soups, I can't seem to get all of the Water I should have each day, but I try. I just desperately need something to satisfy the hunger. I have only lost 17 lbs.

Please help![/quote']

That happened to me so I had to start doing regular foods ... Just chewed really well . Protein Bars help a lot . The Protein shakes stopped helping the hunger . Good luck

Thank you.

I was just like you, my lack of hunger lasted several months but little by little you start getting hungrier but nowhere near the levels I was at pre-surgery

I woke up from surgery hungry, and still am 3 months later.

I'm 5 months post op and I get hungry especially a week before my period. When my period is over I don't feel hungry but I can tell when I need to eat because I start to feel dizzy or very tired. I eat every 2-3 hours even if I'm not hungry but it only takes a couple of bites before I'm satisfied.
