2 weeks post op still have lots of intestine pain and miss eating

I did not realize how I would miss food. I found out yesterday the tumor they cut off my head last week is Melanoma. All I wan to do is eat now, so worried, as I have several other small ones coming up too. I'm miserable with this knif in the right side of my belly, and the worry.

Not the greatest news - sorry :(

Is there something/someone you can turn to for comfort?

food will just make you more miserable physically/mentally and frankly, 2 weeks out - dangerous.

Hang in there and if nothing else - face this, you might be stronger than you think!

Absolutely - using food to soothe at this point will definitely NOT be soothing, and could only lead to more pain and problems! Seek out friends, clergy, any method of support you can find! *hugs*
