Heartburn at 2.5wks post op

Ok gang...I'm not sure what's going on, but lately I've had some pretty bad heartburn. I thought it was because I was eating either too fast or something too solid, but today it's happening again, and I had liquids for breakfast. What is going on???

It's probably still there from the day before. My only advice would be is to... Monitor what u eat so that way u know where it's triggering from trust me it's normal

Apparently some people get it after the surgery. It usually last a few months. I'm there with you. I never had it before, but I do now. I had it really bad week 2 into three. I started eating slower and it seems to have subsided. I keep xantac around tho. I'm going into week 4.

That's exactly where I'm at! I'm just starting week 3 and it just started towards the end of last week. I'm going to try to be careful of acids and try to keep the prilosec & pepto handy. Gotta start sleeping on an angle again too. I'll ask the doc at the 1 month post op visit. Thanks.
