What do you say when you get THAT question??

Ok I am getting the "So what are you doing to loose weight" question a lot now. I do not want it out there that I had surgery, my family is very against it. SO what do you say when you get that question? I can not say Weight Watchers because my brother's mother in law is a guru at it and would GRILL me. ANY suggestions?

And in the big scheme of things, I love not knowing how to lie about how I am loosing weight. At least I am not getting more of those "We should talk about how unhealthy you are" talks. :tired

It depends on who is asking - and why. If it's a weighty woman (or man) that is asking because they truly want to know and try what I am doing, I tell them the truth.

I know that it is true that the loss depends on diet and exercise - but I feel it is not really helping to tell our Sisters and Brothers that they have to do what we all tried and failed to do pre-band.

If they might need the band, or benefit from the band, and they are sincerely asking for help - I feel the need to tell them about the band.

Now - if it's just somebody asking in passing - or somebody just throwing a question in with the compliment - I tell them it's hours on the eliptical machine - and that is no lie, either.

:]

Can't offer any advice as I have always been very open to everyone. But it sounds like there are some good suggestions. I know everyone is different and has person reasons for telling or not. Good luck
