VSG or 360 body lift more painful?

Recommended Posts

The recovery time is weeks for the body lift. I am not sure what is more painful but the body lift is going to put you out of commission for awhile.

The body lift will be 1 MILLION times more painful. My mother had breasts and a TT, they were done a few years apart, but her recovery from the TT has been long and painful for her. The Dr. was great, but it's a very hard surgery to recover from, she is a very young 54, and very active, she had the TT on the 5th of Dec and still gets exhausted easy, and has trouble getting around. I was fine after 3 days from having VSG, so knowing what all the 360 entails, and having experienced my mothers recovery just from a TT, I would say comparatively, about 1 million times more painful and longer recovery from a 360 than from VSG.

I've actually had a 360 body and it was very painful! I mean very! But worth it!! I lost a ton if weight on my own (110) lbs but now have gained 40 back that was my last try and have decided to do the sleeve! Surprisingly non in my stomach but some on my hips/flanks and boobs! I kept it off for a year but needed to lose more still... And need a tool to help me! mainly with cravings and portions! Now it's creeping back on....I try to exercise regularly but I look at a carb and gain weight( no help to my severe pcos I have had since I was 12) I'm def doing sleeve now and thrilled that it is not as bad to recover from! Thanks for your replies!

I've only ever had VSG and a C-section, I didn't find either surgery particularly painful. The gas pain of the VSG was worse than the incisions for sure and those went away fairly quickly (though at the time it certainly didn't feel quick). I'll need a lower body lift, thighs, arms and breasts done in the future probably, not looking forward to it. Probably an upper body lift too, bleh.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
