Booking my body lift with Dr. Katzen!

Recommended Posts

I just had my first consult (via phone) with Dr. Katzen in California to start the process of having a lower body lift!

I had my sleeve surgery in Oct of 2011 and am down 125lbs now. I weight 194lbs and would like to get down another 25 before my body lift. I am planning for a November surgery date.

This will be difficult to coordinate because I will have so much travel to get there. I live in a remote community in the Yukon (next door to Alaska). Already I am dreading the trip home after the surgery because I am sure I am going to be incredibly uncomfortable! But I am pretty sure this will all be worth it!

Anyone else out there have surgery with Dr. Katzen? I would love to hear from you!

Kara

Hi there! I am in Seattle and have been doing consults with top rated surgeons here. My sleeve was Dec 2011 and I have lost alnost 150. They told me no reason to wait since I am basically at goal. No probkem to lose say another 15# except since I have little remaining fat they worried that health will be compromised. Bottom line although my BMI us 26.something they both said to stop losing.

I am starting with lower body lift and boobs as surgery #1

I dont know anything about your doc, but our numbers are simiiar so thought I'd share.

How exciting for you! I had my surgery done at the Puget Sound Surgical Centre just outside of Seattle! What a great job you have done since your surgery too. We do have really close numbers! I seem to be stuck right now in a horrible stall and nothing is getting me under 190! Driving me nuts!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
