Burning Sensation

Hello,

I'm 5 days post op and every since late last night I've been having this burning sensation down my throat. Does this sound familiar? Am I drinking to fast? Any advice and tips please and thanks:)

Yes I had that as well get your doctor to write u something for it cause it made it hard for me to drink cause of it after it was so much easier

Thanks Eboni, is it something you take everyday?

For the time being you can take tums 3-4 depending on the package. I use Zantac 150 almost daily to stop the burning. Call your Doc but the tums will stop in now if you take it till you can get some from your physician. I was put on an acid blocker twice a day for the first ten days after surgery. hope you feel better
