4 days out of surgery

I had surgery on Monday after a 2 year fight to have it. I'm excited and scared at the same time. Having a hard time getting that protein and water in.

I had a very hard time with water and protein. The only advice I can give you sip sip sip. It gets better. Also try adding no calorie flavors to your water and sugar free syrups to the protein shake

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to have to try it.

Best Wishes....I'll be where you are in May if all goes as planned. Wishing you well!

Blessings!

I had surgery on Monday also. Very hard to get all the Water and the Protein in. I do keep water with me at all times and sip sip and more sipping. Reading other posts I know it will get easier for us. Good luck.

Our nurse during our pre op class said for the first week, it's more water water water rather than protein. But to try your darndest to get the protein in. Using a clear protein helps a lot of people they say, I plan on using Isopure for the first few weeks, even though it doesn't taste the best it's easier and thinner to get down.
