How do you get one on way to renter mexico

Are you flying? Are you asking how to get one at the airport? If so, just let them know when you buy your ticket that you would like a wheelchair. When you get to the airport let the person at the desk know and they will get one for you and someone will take you to the gate. It doesn't cost anything.

Would I absolutely need a wheelchair? I'd prefer to walk... But if this is anything like my csection, I won't be able to!!

It's not as bad as a csection . Walking ASAP is really better for you. The gas pain one gets from not walking is horrible! Walking starts the healing process too ;) you'll be just fine!

I'm sorry I guess it depends how big the airport is, distance between terminals & all. Airports are great with providing assistance with wheelchairs when needed.

I'd say most people are just fine without a wheelchair. :) The walking IS good for us after surgery.

I'm asking for a wheelchair, anyway, because I will have to connect through a large airport (I haven't purchased tickets yet; I'm currently stalking the internet to find the best deal until I absolutely can't wait any longer)..probably Dallas/Fort Worth. It's not that I won't be able to walk but it's 1. easier to get through security and I know myself well enough to know I'll be aggravated if I have to stand for long while not feeling well and 2. I can make certain that I will make my connecting flight even if I can't walk very fast.

If I could get a direct flight, I'd probably forego the wheelchair assistance. but I figure it's better to not need it and have it than need it and not be able to get it.

Makes sense! I can only imagine having to think all that through! I'm lucky that I live 2 miles away from my hospital!! I didn't do much walking as in a store & such till about 4 days out. You'll do great!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
