Its been 8 weeks and 1 day since my surgery and including my 10 day preop diet, i am down 30#'s, but the best part is i am in actually in onederland!! Its going what I feel is slow, but its going :-)

I started the biotin before surgery...I take 1000mcgs daily. I don't kno if it helps metabolism though. The dr recommended that I take it so...

Are you taking a chewable form of Biotin, or just the regular tablets? I've only been able to find them in 300mcg- are you just taking several of the 300mcg, or have you actually found a 1000mcg tablet/chewable?

Thanks!!

I think I'm not eating lunch at work anymore the sounds are killing me so embareasing ugggh doc said to drink protonix and levisin for gas. This sucks. Maybe I'm eating to fast too slow too much I don't know.

I am 8 weeks and 2 days and lost 20 pounds total' date=' its been slow, but I don't really work out, I still need to loose 43 pounds hoping by the fall at least.[/quote']

Marymouse (loving the name!), I've noticed that when I work out the weight moves faster. I do NOT enjoy it, but I noticed even last week I got in a lot of unintentional excercise as I was on vaca (went to an amusement park and swimming in the pool) and I've lost 10 lbs in the past week and half! It has not come off this fast since weeks 1-3! Im at 9 weeks now. I'm spreading the exercise news like its gospel...ha ha.

In cry mode tonite :( just ready to heal..sleep well...get back to all activities. Hopefully it will go well and won't have to remove ovary....thank goodness for vacation and sick pay.

Walk for at least 30min a day 4-5 times a week, then resistance train for 30-45 4 times a week. Squats, twists etc with a weight or curl bar. Leg lifts, girl push ups etc.
