I got my fill in atlanta at a usa fill center and I asked not to be filled to the max because i was afraid of vomiting but i really don"t have enough restriction now. it takes awhile for the swelling to go down and really see what your restriction will be. also you must go very slow with adding soft foods and chewing really good.Iplan on going back and getting another fill.remember vomting can be dangerous so eat accordingly.

I go to the office in Roswell and have not had to much trouble except when I was over filled having a choice of driving 5-6 hrs or waiting 2 weeks was not very convenient. I also feel the fees are very high and think its horrible to have to pay for a slight unfill with in a few weeks of paying for a fill.

I am from atlanta, GA and would like to get my first fill, (i got banded 25th Sept) So its been 7 weeks and I have lost a total amount of 21-22lbs. But now i feel I can eat anything with no restriction and I have just been going to the gym to mantian my weight.

I went to fillcenterusa and there is a location in GA but that clinic just opened recently and the nurse/fill woman has only been doing it for 2-3 months, im not sure if i feel too comfortable with her being so new.

I have contacted Dr. Ponce in Dalton,GA but he requires $2000 upfront and similar to another doctor in TN, since that amount is too pricey for me I would like someone relatively cheaper 300-400.

Any suggestions will be helpful-thank you

dr michael williams 770-500-3664 of laparoscopic institute. he really does great fills for $200. pls let them know i recommended you. thanks randie gray

Does Dr Williams use fluroscopy? and if so is there an additional fee?

Thanks and any info on Dr Williams would be appreciated.

Not everyone wants to go to FillCenter because, while it is awesome that they exist, especially for those banded in Mexico, they are quite costly. It is far cheaper for me to go back to Denver where I was banded then going to Moultrie, GA, which would be the closest for me. You also have to consider the cost of gasoline these days. I would loe to see the cost come way down, the patient load would go way up so it would remain very profitable. Just my two cents :)

Hi Randie, are you sure Dr.Williams does fills for people banded in Mexico. It would be awesome if he does. It would give me another option besides fill center usa.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
