Definitely feeling better. Just had to get past some blues. It helped a lot being on here and talking!

A trick that helped me snap out of it, was trying on clothes. I always felt good once I was able to realize my clothes started fitting me big. Good luck and hope you feel better.

Ps dancing around my house like a fool also helped me feel better, it may have been my body's release because of the cardio from the exercise.

I think that I'm lucky I didn't have that moment of: "What the f***k did I just do to my body". I thought when I woke up after surgery I'd instantly regret it.

My only regret now is that I do feel depressed, but I feel like it's not over the loss of food. I don't miss it much. I'm concerned it's because of the low carb diet causing a serotonin imbalance. Sometimes I miss pizza and soda, but to get through it, you have to tell yourself you did this to lose weight and get fit.

Without this surgery, I'd never do the things I want to do with my body. You have to remind yourself why you did this. What are your goals and keep your eye on the prize!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
