3 days post op...wondering when all the swelling will go down?

Hi everyone,

I am 3 days post op and just wondering when I am safe to get an accurate reading on the scale. My belly is still really swollen. How long did it take for everyone's swelling to go down until you had your "true" weight??? Thanks.

1 week for me.

I'm one of those that weighs daily so I weighed the morning of surgery and when I got home from hospital. While the swelling wasn't completely gone, it only took 3 days for me to get back to my day of surgery weight. Took about 2 weeks for me to really FEEL like I wasn't bloated from gas and fluids.

I didn't weigh myself until... My 2 week post op appointment
