Getting Sleeved 1-29-13

Recommended Posts

Hey y'all I got sleeved on Monday the 28th so we are all close in dates. I'm currently in phase 2 and will be there til February 8th then on the 9th I can finally start phase 3!! How long are y'all taking off from work?

I can't wait to have a Protein shake! Im getting my liquids down easily. Warm broth feels good going down and suddenly I LOVE ice cold Water. Today has been a major turn for me, feeling lots better. I plan on going back to work Tuesday(desk job) but depending on how I feel I might do half days. Feeling leaps and bounds better. Days 1 and 2 were the hardest but I feel so far past that now.

How's everyone feeling? Sip, sip, sip. I'm kinda bored honestly. I'm not one to sit around and rest but I'm trying to do what's best. Went for a few walks today but I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. Hope y'all are doing well!

Same here. Walked the driveway to get the mail and got a little tired which I wasn't expecting! Ill do one more lap before bed tonight. Taking it easy, sipping broth, and Water. Ate some Jello for the first time and it went down smoothly. Trying to nap less so I can get on a normal schedule. Not too bothered by seeing the hubby eat, but cant wait to get past clear liquids!! So far ive gone from 219.4 to 210.4 - that's a huge loss for me! I've never lost that much even during months of dieting. I cant believe its actually working!!! I cant wait to see what the future brings. Hope everyone is well! Each day is leaps and bounds better!

Just checking in! How are you all feeling? I am better every day. Up and moving really well with little to no soreness. Winded at times but nothing major. Making sure to rest and sip Water. Made taco dip for the hubby for Superbowl today and it smelled so good! I had just eaten my broth and thankfully wasn't tempted! As of today I've gone from 219 to 209! Thanking God for a successful surgery and feeling blessed to be on a good path! Hoping things stay the course. No bouts of head hunger yet. What a feeling to be past days 1 and 2!

I had a really rough couple of days last week and as the week went on every day got better. I just had an enormous amount of nausea and gas pain. More nausea. So I haven't eaten a whole lot other than the Water, some crystal light, a little bit of Protein Shake. I'm going to try to bring in the broth today. I'm starving though. I think my weight at the hospital before the surgery was 264 and my weight this morning is 249. I can get up and move around and go for a walk and do all that but I've noticed if I'm on my feet for extended amount of time, I get light headed and start to feel bad. I can only assume it's from not taking enough calories in to really be burning energy.

Today I ventured out driving to the bank then a visit to my mom's office. After the visit, I went to grocery store to buy more milk and other items during that amount of time out I was feeling light headed hurried home made me some cream of chicken Soup with Unjury unflavored Protein. It made a difference how I'm feeling now that light headness went a away. Now I know why vampires need blood. Lol

Hope you feel better! I felt super dizzy today after my walk. Could have been my hot shower or something but I felt like I was going to pass out. I've had a headache all day too. One day at a time though!

Is anyone wearing Spanx instead of their binder? I am testing it out today and I hope it's not too tight on my incisions. I wonder how long until the incisions are healed? Any input is appreciated. :)

Tomorrow starts my full liquid diet. I can't tell you how excited I am!! :) Finally a little flavor!!! Woohoo!

Hope y'all are doing well!!

I didn't get a binder. I haven't used anything yet. I know my staples come out Thursday.

I've read some posts that mentions binders. Is it something like Spanx? I'm wondering if that would help me, or maybe it's too late. I feel like I might have pulled one of the inner stitches.

Oh I hope not! What is it that makes you think think that you have?

I have a sharp pain at one of the incision sites. On the 3rd day after surgery I bent over and picked up my cat. Now if I move around much or certain ways it hurts like crazy. The other incision sites aren't sore at all. I hope I'm just worring too much.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
