  1. The past couple days I've been getting these stomach cramps that come and go. I don't think I ate anything bad and haven't changed my routine up any. Anyone experience stomach pains/cramps?
  2. I'm in San Antonio also! I was sleeved Jan 28. Who did you use? I used Dr Duperier. Glad I did it! How are both of y'all doing?
  3. Has anyone tried meals from My Fit Foods? I picked up a couple today and am hoping they are good.

  6. How long did it take for your incisions to heal up? I'm 8 days post-op and they itch.

  10. That's the first thing I'm eating when I get to puréed/soft food stage!! And I can't wait! Lol! 2 more weeks. And ps...if you haven't been to south Texas, you haven't had good Mexican food. I could live off of it.....which is why I am now sleeved. Lol!

  12. I just blended my choc premier shake with ice and its so good! Just like a milkshake. I also read if you throw a tsp of Peanut Butter and a tsp of butterscotch instant (sugar free) pudding mix in with it that it's tastes like butterfinger! I'm so doing that tomorrow. Also, I am going to make a batch and freeze it so it will be like my ice cream. It's amazing how much I'm enjoying them after that clear liquid diet. Lol.
  13. Hope you feel better! I felt super dizzy today after my walk. Could have been my hot shower or something but I felt like I was going to pass out. I've had a headache all day too. One day at a time though! Is anyone wearing spanx instead of their binder? I am testing it out today and I hope it's not too tight on my incisions. I wonder how long until the incisions are healed? Any input is appreciated. Tomorrow starts my full liquid diet. I can't tell you how excited I am!! Finally a little flavor!!! Woohoo! Hope y'all are doing well!!

  15. Great post Frank! I'm only 4 days out (surgery 1/29) and am so ready to be back at work and the gym. But I'm being patient. Lol! Thanks for posting your story...with all the negative stories on here I had a total meltdown the night before my surgery. It's nice to hear the positives! Keep up the good work! PS--Chicago is my favorite city to travel to! It's amazing. I had a friend that lived on State and Superior for several years and it was a blast!
  16. How's everyone feeling? Sip, sip, sip. I'm kinda bored honestly. I'm not one to sit around and rest but I'm trying to do what's best. Went for a few walks today but I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. Hope y'all are doing well!
  17. Good! I'm working on liquids as we speak. I can't have protein shakes till week 2. But I am looking forward to some jello later.

  19. Jennifer, I had a hernia repaired too. Nurses said it would take a good week or so to get rid of all the gas. Could be both I guess. Are you getting your liquids in? Today's the first day I'll be tracking it.

  21. It helps a lot with getting up and down from the bed. Funny that I woke up at the exact time my painkillers are due. My tummy is rumbling away. Assuming its thirsty?! And recovering?
