Hello fellow January sleevers! I think I am the slowest loser of them all, had my surgery 1/16/13. SW: 200, and now 169. But I know I am going in the right direction coz I am much smaller and have never felt this healthy in a long time ;)

here's my current pics!

Yea lower BMI's seem to be losing way slower than higher BMI sleevers. I try not to compare too much. Or compare with those with similar starting weights. I was SW: 225, sleeved 2/6 & now 178 so 47 lbs in 3 months.

I had a NSV today!! I went to Kohl's today to get my daughter a few things and found a cute pair of skimmers ( like capri's) that are not a plus size!! I have not worn a regular misses size in over 5 years;) I bought them even though I am still losing;)

I have a great NSV. My daughters class was going on a trip and I was a chaperone. We ordered shirt for the group and I ordered myself a large. Which is a huge victory in itself. The day the shirts came she brought mine home and told me that mine was one of the only large shirts and everyone else was either an XL or 2XL. I couldn't be happier. I wore it for the trip yesterday and it was even a bit big. Loving my sleeve. Down 95 lbs since 1/16. 35 more to goal.

Today officially marked my 85lb weight loss. I started at 300 and now am at 215. I was sleeved 1/23/13. I haven't really set a goal, ( more like just curious how much i can lose) but I am proud of myself. It's been hard let me tell you..

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
