Whats the longest stall you have had and at what month did u stop losing?

Recommended Posts

What is the longest stall everyone has had?? I was sleeved Sept. 17 and my first stall lasted about 2 weeks. This time it's been about 3 weeks and I'm nervous. Now that I my calorie intake is higher I'm scared I won't lose the weight. I have about 900 to 1200 cal a day it varies from day to day. Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to jump start my weight loss again??

I had a good three week stall beginning 2nd week of December and just ending this past week! I was sleeved on 11/12 so it started at four weeks post op. I am most definitely the slowest loser on these boards -

9/26/12 I lost 31 lbs. I have been in a stall for 7 weeks. I have done it all to make it stop it won't let up so I'm on a 48-hour all liquid diet such lovely fun. So hang in there :). So I think I'm the slowest hands down :P

I have been sleeved 11 weeks and I haven't really experienced a stall yet. There have been weeks where I have lost only a pound, but I consider that fine...As long as I am losing, I feel good!

That's really good nerdy because these stalls are no fun at all!! I would definitely be happy with 1 lb a week.

Mine was 9 weeks! I did EVERYTHING!

Finally I started chugging the Water. A gallon a day. For a week. Then the next week I lost 4 pounds them 6 then 3. This was in May. Now ever since then I drink that much every day and haven't been stalled since. 124 down 20 pounds to go!

Wow that is cool!! I will definitely try that and I know I HAVE to cut back on carbs! I guess carbs are just easier when I can't cook like when I'm at work.

Carbs, carbs, carbs. Such a love hate relationship. I have done high then low, I feel like poo on Adkins low (20) but think my nut is crazy when she says 110-120 at a year out. I stay at 60-70. I know you can lose the weight on super low, but as soon as you get to goal and start incorporating them you are going to gain again. I finally found a number I was happy with where I could still lose weight. You just have to find that # and stick with it. Good luck.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
