Bad taste in mouth yuck :(

The combination of optifast and water all day leaves me with a terrible taste in my mouth, so I asked my doc if I could chew sugarless gum and he says ok. I can chew it up to the day before my surgery. It's so nice to have something with flavor to chew on! Extra gum dessert delights has awesome favors. I think I bought one of each at Target lol.

Nice. If you're having some rapid weight loss and low carbohydrates it could also be ketosis.

Sound like ketosis to me. That is a great place to be in even if you have a really bad taste in your mouth. Hated the feeling but the reality of losing weight rapidly was wonderful. Take the bad understand your really are in the best place of all.
