No, I'm too busy freezing all the time. You might wanna make sure your not running a fever or something, Give it a few days, your body is still out of wack from the trauma it went thru.

Most people tend to be cold all the time after surgery. But since this is because the hormone Grehlin is no longer produced in as much quantity after surgery it effects the bodies inner temperature control, so it seems very possible that some people might have the opposite effect and be warm and therefore sweat more. That being said you should definitely make sure your not running a fever because for the same reason I would think a fever would feel different post surgery and you may not be as quick to notice it. Also check to make sure your heart rate and Blood pressure or not elevated because some cardiac conditions can cause increased sweating and might not have pain associated with them. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hi

Make sure it is not a temp.

With me,unfortunately the surgery triggered severe hot flushes from about day 7.It stopped 2 months later but it was pure hell.I flushed every half hour or so.

About 10 days ago,at 10 months out,the flushes returned with a vengance.I am 45 however and the sudden loss of estrogen with the fast weight loss triggered this.Still dont know how I am going to survive this for much longer,it is horrible.

Hope it disappear soon and that it is just nothing!

Got sleeved on the 7th and I'm just sweating alot has anyone else experienced this.

I ended up sweating and hot flashes for about 7wks, It was horrible, my poor husband would be sitting next to me and would freeze because I had a fan facing me! I will on occasion still get hot but for the most part, I'm NOW freezing! :(

Hopefully this will be temporary!

I had horrible sweating for the first 3 months. To the point I had to bring another scrub top to work bc I would sweat through my first one. Are you on thyroid hormones? I had to lower my dose and that helped alot! I am 4.5 months out now and no sweating. I actually sweat wayyyyy less then I ever did before my surgery.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
