Is anyone Having trouble drinking after having a hernia removed during the gastric sleeve procedure

After having the sleeve done on dec 17 , I have experience trouble drinking Water comfortably and having minor back pain whenever I drink ,or eat puréed foods.

Unable to take more than a couple bits or tuna ,or even chicken salad.

Help if anyone is having the same issue.

Same exact problems, I am getting a ct on wed for the back pain I swear it is a kidney stone.

I had my hiatal hernia repaired as well. I had pain when drinking for the first two weeks, then it just kept getting better, til one day around 3-4 weeks I realized it was gone! Hang in there. It'll go away. If it doesn't start improving, ask Bout it.

I also had surgery Dec 17. With hernia repair....I have no trouble swallowing anything...am allowed to eat reg food. You should contact your dr!

I am in the hospital bed with that exact problem now. How are you holding up?

I saw my dr last Tuesday & he gave me the green light for reg food...so far i haven't found anything I can't eat yet, I just had some roast beef, potato & baby carrot. I can eat about 1/2 cup total when I get that " full" feeling. I haven't had ANY nausea except for waking up from surgery.
