I just bought some nectar - Roadside Lemonade and Nectar - Apple Ecstasy today and mixed them together with some frozen pineapple chucks and added 2 - Stevia liquid - Apricot Nectar drops it was great! I really do not like Protein Drinks, but I will be using this combination for a while.

To begin with, I will say I mix mine Water. I mix none with milk and I know that alters the flavor. Just some thing to keep in mind. ;)

Cappuccino. I like it. Mild coffee flavor, not heavy at all. Almost like a weak - flavored coffee candy

chocolate truffle - it's ok.

vanilla bean torte - it's ok. Tolerable

Cookies and cream - took awhile to drink. I'd be ok if I never had it again but didn't make me vomit. Probably Tate's better with milk.

Lemon tea (can't remember the exact name) - was actually ok with it. Change of pace.

strawberry - ok. Sure it's better with milk

Apple ecstasy - could not tolerate it all. Bleh

Fuzzy navel - nope. Not ever drinking it again

caribbean cooler - yuck.

I've pretty much had them all, I just can't think of them right now, lol. When I do, I'll come back and edit. :)

I mix with Water, coffee or tea. I tried samples of almost all the fruit flavors (got mine on Vitalady's site) and hated every one. I was surprised but my tastes have changed. I like vanilla, chocolate and Cappuccino, as well as the unflavored. I mix two scoops into 10-12 oz. of liquid and get my Protein boost in that way. I still don't like to eat Breakfast and I like to keep my Protein high (90+ grams a day) because I feel better with higher protein. I'm more than two years out and of all the many Proteins I've tried this is my favorite brand.

I like the nectar sweets the best. Cookies and creme is my go to shake every day now for months. I also like chocolate truffle mixed with PB2 to create a quasi Reece's flavor. I do not like much of the fruit flavors and absolutely cannot stand the fuzzy navel flavor. I was really a peach and banana flavor person pre surgery, but have a lot of issues tolerating these flavors post surgery in just about any form. It is interesting how our tastes change after surgery.

I choked down the first couple that I made with Water. I saw that someone mixed the Fuzzy Navel with orange juice. Drinking one of those right now and am enjoying it.

I am sure the OJ is not preferred but I have only been getting in about 300 calories a day so I figured it was worth the calories to get the Protein. The sugar seemed to settle ok as well.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
