1/31! Had my presurgical appt today!

Date is set, waiting on one piece of paper before they will send my files over to insurance. We have Aetna and they have a quick turnaround the office staff said. It is getting real.

Did my chest Xrays, EKG and bloodwork. Going to see my PCP in 10 days for final clearance. Wowza.

My Dr sets super low goals...anyone else have a surgeon like that? He said he wants me to lose 60 lbs in a year. Um, I am 39, f, 5'10.5" and weigh 295. He is going to be shocked by the effort and work I put in.

I am a SAHM mom to three kids with autism. I am praying for an easy recovery. I will start hanging around here more.
