1 week out.. Do you think the more protein

Recommended Posts

Ok so I am one week out. So I feel like I am not getting any results. Maybe I'm just a little anxious

Or I am not doing something right. I know it's still early. I am now trying to get on a Protein Shake, drinking my Water and my dr said I can move on to yogurts and soft noodles. So the more Proteins will it make the weight come off??? IDK IM SO CONFUSED!!

The high Proteins are to preserve your muscle mass. Just the fact that your body is now in starvation mode will cause the weight to come off. We just want it to come off the body fat, not the muscle. Remember, at this point you should only be drinking 4 oz. a meal of your Protein Drink or 4 tbs. of greek yogurt. Don't try to take in more than that (like I mistakenly did) or it could blow a hole in your new sleeve. Sometimes it can take a few weeks for the body to adapt to all it's been through, but the weight will come off. I'm only 16 days out and have already had a stall. We just have to be patient and give it time.

Unjury Protein mix tasted the best to me of all the protein mixes, shakes, bars etc. that I tried and believe me I bet I spent $400 trying them! Honestly I still didn't get my required protein in after all that. I think most people struggle with getting the protein in at first. When you get to the stage that you can eat fish and other meats you won't have to worry about it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
