Hey I was sleeved dec 27th wanted to see how others on this day are feeling today is a hard day for me still having omg what did I do feelings

I believe MOST people feel this sadness. It took me 2-3 weeks to have ALL of that feeling of regretment go away. I think once I started logging everything in to My finess pal. It all started changeing for the positive. I actually went to a rest. Saturday and did fine. I ordered over cooked veges and a scrambled egg. I ate about 1/16th of the portion. My friend ate the rest and her meal. (no, she is not OW)

I was really fine with that. Between getting the hang of it, feeling emotionally better when the drugs were out of my system, and see the weight drop off, I became happy to be on this ride for the rest of my (long) life. You will too. Just take it easy, be good to yourself and rest. Best wishes to you.

I had those feelings too. Just hang in there it will get better. I had a friend of mine who had her vsg a year before me and she told me just think skinny thoughts...I was like what the heck are skinny thoughts lol but then pondering that got me through :)

Hang in there!!

I was sleeved the 27th, and maybe had those thoughts for a total of 10min. I wont let myself. Didn't even get bothered when my family had their usual sunday dinner and I could not join. I'm down 8 lbs. That's incentive enough, for me. Keep it up! Try not to dwell on your decision and if you do just think about it with a smile and say it's a positive change. After a while you wont have to force yourself to smile.

I was sleeved on 12/27 and I haven't had any complications or buyer's remorse. Hope I don't.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
