Sitting in My Hospital Bed! Wishing this pain would just Go AWAY!

Just had my sleeve yesterday morning and today I'm feeling like a crap.. I was a groggy all day from the anesthesia yesterday, but today I'm better!! I have to continue to tell myself

That this pain is temporary and that I'll be back to myself soon!!!! Please keep me in your prayers!!!

I had a surgery day much like you. Pain and anesthesia overload. Once you shake the anesthesia with enough fluids going through you will start to feel better. However, follow the advice of the others and tell your nurse. I had drips of both tylenol and ibuprofen in addition to iv pain meds and then liquid. It all gets better soon. Good luck.

Wondering how you are feeling today? Did you ever get your pain under control?
