Frustrated as hell!

Okay I understand that I'm not as heavy as a lot of sleevers but I want to lose weight too. I had the surgery 11/9 and I've only lost 25 lbs. Trust me I'm grateful; however, I've been at this weight for over a week. I've read post where no exercise take place and these people have lost 30lbs +. I'm drinking water, eating nothing but protein and walking an average of 18 miles per week. I'm crying because I feel like something is wrong. I'm even fighting the hungry that I sometimes feel. I can't talk to my family because they don't understand because they can see my weight loss. Can anybody relate to what I'm saying?????

I hit mine at 3 weeks (last week). Only lost 1/2 lb. Following the diet to the letter and getting the exercise' date=' Water and Protein. I'm seeing some loss this week but probably a lb or maybe 2. It will happen. The body is adjusting. My suggestion is to track everything you eat. It really help give you a good idea of what is to many carbs, not enough protein. I go on mushies on Tuesday and I think that there will be some stalling again. But it will all be good in end. Eventually things will settle and you'll be losing again. Hang in there[/quote']

Thanks! You do the same

Every body is different' date=' don't compare yourself to others. Just keep on track and the scale will move. Have you measured yourself? You may have lost inches.

Stay focused.

No, I never do the measurements because my scale and clothes verified I was losing. I will do that tomorrow after my drs appointment.

I agree with Smokey!! We're all different' date=' that's why we're called individuals. So don't compare, just continue doing the great things you have been doing, you'll get there. Might I suggest a Yoga class to calm your mind? It sure helps me to relax and put my mind at ease when the daily life gets overwhelming...relax, breathe, proceed..you'll do fine!!

I think that's a great idea!!!! My gym offers the classes and I better get in before I really freak out.....thanks!!!

Nursedel' date=' don't let the scale get you down. Have you measured yourself? Sometimes you lose inches and not pounds. You can't let the movement on the scale stop you from doing what you need to do and should be doing.

Also, you might need to take some fiber to get your bowels moving as well as drink at least 64 ounces of Water.

As long as you are doing what you need to be doing, the weight will come off. Things will change. I stalled from May until September. In September, I started losing again and am down another 12 pounds.[/quote']

Thanks Linda...congrats on the 12lb reduction. I think I do need the fiber because I'm not moving regularly. Thanks!

Thanks for the encouragement....I keep thinking the drs didn't make my stomach as small the others who went with me. Lol...paranoid about this weight loss thing...

I thought that too! He didn't make my stomach small enough. OMG- back to yo yoing. And its kind of weird some days I can't hardly eat anything while other days I feel like I can eat a lot. Of course its not even close, or in the same ball park as to what I used to be able to eat. Thank God! LOL
