The first day I got sleeved they didn't even let me drink. I was allowed ice chips only while in the hospital the first day, once an hour. I was on too many meds to really worry about it, though. My first day most of what I did was sleep and hurt. The sensation you feel is probably gas, so take something for it and see if it helps.

Sip sip sip. Just enough to wet your mouth. It will get easier. I promise. Sip sip sip. Use a spoon if you have to. Sip sip sip. I felt the same exact way, don't give up. I am at day 5 and feeling good. A little nausea in the morning but that is the only problem. Good luck and keep on touch.

I love my floppy message could I spell it all wrong teehe! Good drugs peeps! It's day two and I'm more sore today but also feel more alive! Getting discharged this morning! It was not nearly as bad as I thought truthfully. I was bawling yesterday just for the fear of the unknown but now I know and I'm so much better. Thanks for listening

I had to drink 1 oz of Water every 15 minutes. 4 oz per hour. It doesn't sound like much but immediately after surgery it was A LOT. Each day gets easier and easier. I was sleeved on the 10th of Dec and I feel absolutely wonderful. As I w as told. SIP SIP SIP. WALK WALK WALK. SIP SOME MORE.
