Protien Drinks Are To Sweet. They Make Me Nauseated

I am 5 days post op. I am on day 2 of full liquid diet. The protien shakes are now to sweet! So is the post op meds I need to take. They really make me gag. Anyone with ideas of how to sweeten down the shakes? I have a vanilla powder with 34 gms of protien.

I have found that the powders are less sweet than the premade. You may have to try another brand to see if it may be less sweet. I don't think there is a way to lessen the sweet unless you ad more liquid.

if you are mixing the powder with skim milk you could try just using water.
