I am starting to really think the sleeve may be the best option for me instead of the lap band. Still researching like crazy of course. But I would really like to know how long you were out of work to recover? I don't have MANY personal days, so a big factor in me choosing this surgery is if I would be able to go back to a desk job after a week? If I had it done on a Friday, take the next week off and return to work on that next Monday, does that sound possible in your experience?

Also, was there an over night stay in the hospital for you or did you go home the same day? Thanks so much for any responses! Everyone here so far seems so informative and helpful!!! :)

I had hiatal hernia repair and VSG on 11/1, with a 2 night hospital stay, and I went back to work on 11/11.
