5. I thought the main one would be in my belly button, but it's not. Maybe because I already have a scar there from having my gallbladder out.

Day 3 was yesterday - I was dismissed from hospital. I actually did not feel the greatest but I think I was fighting something. I had the chills and was really scared I was going to start running a fever. I slept pretty good and woke up feeling much better.

Day 4 - I'm dong great - so far I haven't had to take any nausea medicine. The only pain medication I'm taking is 1 extra strength Tylenol. My weight is same as when I went I'm for surgery. I'm eating Jello, pudding and trying to drink my crystal light. I get a very full feeling very fast. Today I will be taking it easy - not planning on going anywhere.

I hope everyone is dong good too. Would love to hear from all of you.

Blessings - Linda

I have 5 as well. 4 small ones and one larger one. So far 2 stitches have worked their way up and I've pulled them out while hoping its not gonna unravel my tummy like a cheap sweater :)

I have 5. Only 2 are new since I'm a former bandster. But all are teeny except the one at my belly button. That's stil only about an inch!

I have 3 from the surgery itself... and I have 1 where they put in the pain medicine ball tubes - just a very small slit really - and then I have two marks (for lack of a better word) where they had the drainage tubes (they look like strawberries - just like I skinned my knee (or stomach in this case :-))

4 days post surgery and I do feel better today. I actually slept about 6 hours straight! Ingesting 64-ounces of fluids is quite difficult for me. I managed 42 ounces yesterday and this was tough. Focused on getting Proteins and Vitamins first then other fluids. More pain than I had anticipated, but I was comparing it to my lap band surgery 5 years ago. As for not having my Lap-Band - it is odd not feeling the port and always feeling the actual Lap-Band tight on my stomach. Anybody else have a Lap-Band / Sleeve revision? I am actually contemplating going back to work tomorrow - probably not a good idea.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
