My time that I submitted was 1:12 for the 10k. I hope to finish the 1/2 marathon in under 3 hours but I know I will stop for pics so I'm not sure...are u running with a group or by yourself?

  15. I had my surgery with Dr Trivedi on Jan 15 of this year! I am down 91 lbs total and I couldn't be happier!!! I love the program at St Peters but sometimes I go to the Albany Med support group because they meet weekly and the St Peters group only meets once a month.i find the support groups super helpful and supportive hahaha

  19. I started the app about 4 weeks out from surgery at 275 lbs ..... I am now 16 weeks out at 230 lbs and can run a full 5k and my first race is next Sunday! I definitely don't think u are too over weight to start you have to start somewhere right?!?!? It's not easy at first but I NEVER thought I would be able to run over 3 miles....but now I am able to! I also just started the 10k app! Good luck cause if I can do it anyone can!!!!!
  20. Am I the only one that feels they still look the same after losing 60+ pounds? I see pics of other people and you all look great after losing weight but when I look in the mirror I don't see a difference in myself. I still have a long way to go (about 70 more pounds) but I just thought I would be able to notice a difference in myself by now. My husband says I'm crazy to not see a difference but I just don't. Am I the only one?
  21. Yummy! I am going to try it this week!!!
  22. The same thing happened to me! When I asked if I could somewhere else the office said no. Then when I got to the appt I still had to schedule a sleep study then wait another 2 weeks for the sleep study to be read by the dr and because I had sleep apnea I had to go back for another sleep study and then wear my machine for 2 weeks before they would clear me for surgery!!! My suggestion is to call the office and get on a cancelation list.... I was able to get in 3 weeks earlier than my original appt!
  23. I had to see Lemanski pre-op for insurance approval. I actually kind of liked him
  24. I am on my fitness pal too....what's your user name I will add u! I will have o find the body log one sounds better than the paper and camera method I have been using. For he reflux meds I was old to break them open and mix with something and to crush the tablets until about 3 mo post op. have any of u been to a post op support group yet?
  25. I feel awesome! I have been back to the gym since week 3.5 I am 6 weeks out on Tuesday. I have lost 34 since the day of my surgery and a total of 51. I still have a ways to go but I feel awesome! Dr.s notes from which dr? It only took about a weeks for my notes to come over from Dr. lemanski cause I told him about how long I felt the process was taking and he actually made a call to get me into the pulmonologist earlier!
  26. I'm in East Greenbush...I agree and Sky knows my feels about the pre-op process! The new lay is completely rude and I told her she was and all of the sudden her attitude changed. Dr. Trivedi is awesome I love him! I called like everyday too and did not feel bad about it cause I knew if I didn't it would take forever for the process to finish!
