I do fine during the week but MAN as soon as the weekend comes along it seems like I have this need to get in the kitchen and into the bad foods. This weekend I stocked my fridge with hi Protein Shakes and lowfat greek yogurt (which is really hard to get into; at least for me). I'm really looking forward to not being ABLE to eat LOL

Hello December 2012 Sleevers!

My surgery is first case tomorrow morning. I am a bit anxious about surgery. I know I will be okay it is just that I must go through the process. I hope you all do well and I will just send a note to let you know I am sleeved and moving forward when I return home.

Best Regards,

AKTX

Sleeved 12/3!!! Surgery went well - no complications; recovery going good.

Like: The WLS wait is over!

Discomfort: Bloating and gas (bubble guts)

Note: Hard to take the smallest sips of Crystal light -- but ice chips are my new BFF!! Even with limited liquid intake I have had to pee a thousand times!

Happy: to be joining you on the loser's bench!

Taking it easy for now!

Nervous, in doctor room waiting to talk to him. Suppose to start pre-op stuff today for Mondays surgery (dec 10)

I've gained 18.5lbs since we decided to remove the band and go to sleeve. During this time, got off phentramine, stopped smoking and had lap band completely opened up. Hope I'm not in too much trouble.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
