The End Of The Beginning

Hi everyone. This past Wed. I started my pre op protein. My surgery is set for 11/14, and tho I am

hungry, it's taking me awhile to get "used to" the fact that I can only have the protein shakes. It's

getting better, so I'm hoping I can do this without any cheating.

You can do this. Think of every pound you lose now, is one less pound you will need to lose after surgery!

Hi Day. I know I can. I will definitely have challenges, but I think I'm up for them.

What's your story?

Well, so no surgery date yet. I have my psych eval on Monday. That is the last thing I need to do. I'm self pay so I don't have any insurance hoops to jump through. I'm hopping to have my surgery in February. I started the process back in July. Because of a new job I'm trying to build up as much vacation time as I can by February. Since I had so much time to kill before surgery, I've been trying to form as many good habits as I can before surgery. Keeping in mind the more I loose now the less I have to loose later. Just need a few more bad habits to tackle. Anyway, that's my story. Hope I wasn't too long winded.
