Didnt mean to be rude

If you'll read other people's posts, you'll see she had major complications that most people don't have. Iggy Chic has been through so much! All of us on here are here for the same reason-for support & encouragement. I try to make sure that's what all my posts do.

Thurs 8/30: Sugery in Mexico (horrible night felt like I was going to die, threw up blood for hours after surgery)

Fri 8/31: Rested all day @ the Hotel Ticuan; walked around to get out the gas

Sat 9/1: Woke up feeling 100% better, up and out shopping, walking and getting my nails done in the streets of TJ

Sun 9/2: Taken back to San Diego, went to church, beach, & rented a car to drive to LA to visit family

Mon 9/3 (Labor Day): Flew back home to KS (car broke down in the HOT HOT heat had to walk to a gas station) Cleaned up the house and did all my laundry from the trip.

Tues 9/4: Went back to work, drove myself, no problems

Still tired and weak from lack of food/water...I'm trying to do better but I work 60 hrs a week and have 5 kids so forgetting to eat and drink some days.

Day58? Seriously? Are you just lazy?

Please remember to express your opinions and be respectful to others.

Thanks.

That was not nice. Jaggy chic has gone through more than most of us here.

I love it.... You not only embrace the fact that you are lazy (hehe) but you have a good spirit! Seriously....glad to see that all is going well. I am still afraid that complications will arise but laughter and the inspiration on this site is proof that we can get through anything. Sleeved on 10/26 and going to Vitamin Shoppe today. The biggest concern I have....none....it's cold out and I would rather sit here and watch TV under my blanket.

wtf? Shut up. Everyone heals and feels differently. No one should be made to feel guilty for taking longer than others.

I wasn't allowed to drive for two weeks. Day 8 my daughter took me to the mall, huge mistake. Igot weak lightheaded and almost passed out. And that was only 15 minutes after we got there! By day 14 I was able to get around much better but still had rough spots. Take it easy and have someone with you

I was sleeved on the 11th and drove on the 13th. I was allowed as long as I wasn't taking pain meds, and I wasn't. Didn't take any at all.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
