I'm having discomfort under my left breast that turns to a sharp pain when I take a deep breath. I also have costochondritis but it's been a long time since I've had a flare up. I'm 10 days out. Help? The pain isn't bad, just in a concerning place. I also had a sharp pain that roamed around last night on my right side/abdomen, that's where my biggest incision is too. Guess I'm just nervous. Advice would be awesome!

3 weeks post-op. Everything is going good. The other day I did something to my stomach (not my staple line) either internal stitches or scar tissue maybe. Now every time I try to bend or get up from sitting it hurts in one specific spot on my left side. It's not excruciating, but it hurts. Anybody else experience something similar? Don't know if I should call my doc

I pulled a few muscles on my right side where my major incision was. I got up wrong, then heaving made it worse. It was a pretty specific spot and was intensified when I moved in a certain way. in my opinion it sounds much like your problem. But I'm not an expert! A heating pad helped tremendously! If its a concern, call your doc. Make 'em work for what you paid them! ;) keep me posted!

Boston George welcome to the club... I'm two weeks out and it happened to me yesterday. Left side right below the rib. I did a lot of reading about it, seems really common. I talked with my doctor today and he said the same thing, common. Just try not to over do it everything is still healing. But I also read it could take months of that pain coming and going

I was about to say this same thing about my rights side.... I think I got up wrong and strained the muscle last week and it hurt for a few days then stopped. I think I did it again last night because the muscles are sore again today but it definitely feels like muscle soreness.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
