Any Blood Donors? Wonder How Long After Surgery.

I am a blood donor and had surgery 8/6. Wonder how long I have to wait to donate again.

    I'm a platelet donor and my surgeon has suggested a year, unless my blood work starts showing that my platelet count is consistent and he's comfortable with me donating again so it won't interfere with my recovery. You might call your dr's office and ask what they suggest....or ask at your next appt. when they do your next blood test.
