Did you let them fall off? Took them off after how many days?

Hi Cristy, My surgeon told me to let them come off by themselfs. I don't remember how long it took but after my recent gallbladder surgery they fell off about 1 week after surgery.

My surgeon also told me to let them fall off on their own. Imagine my surprise at my first follow up when the doc pulled one off himself. That really suprised the bejeebers out of me. I guess they just want us to be sure that our boo-boos have closed up.

My doctor told me the same to let them fall off and they irritated the heck out of me. I ended up messing with one of them and it took that incision longer to heal than the rest and I ended up with a nice ugly scar for my troubles. Try to grin and bear it. They will fall off.
