You lost 30bs! Not only... :) I see it as 10lbs a month. So you will reach goal in a year :) lol I'm rooting for you! Just keep to your surgeons dietary guidelines and sweat.

Every one is different and 30 lbs lost is great. I think a more important question is how do you feel, are you getting in your protien and Water, exercizing? If you are on any meds have you been evaluated to be sure you are not now taking excessive medication? 30 lbs is a lot of weight to lose.

Losing it slowly can have its advantages. I was aiming for minimum nutrient related deficiencies, and less saggy skin. I am doing pretty good. Right now I am at about an 85 pound weight loss, down from size 26 to 14. I am no longer diabetic.

If you do what you are supposed to, be very aware of your emotional needs and bad habits, you will lose. It will happen :)

Everyone's different. Men seem to lose faster than women, high BMI seems to lose faster than low BMI. I feel like I should be doing better myself. But, 30 lbs is great! Your going in the right direction..And remember, slower weight loss makes for less saggy skin!

When I went to my seminar, the doctor mentioned how it does not matter how fast/slow you lose weight, you will have saggy skin or you will not. But to help it not be so bad you should take your vitamins/supplements, get in your recommended Water intake, and exercise.

I was like what! Because I thought what everyone thought, that slow weightloss meant not very much loose skin. I don't know what to believe haha :D

I started with a 36 BMI and at almost 6 weeks have lost 25 pounds. I assumed from the get go my BMI would make me a slow loser, I do not care much cause I am losing and that is what I came to the party to do ;)

I am happy to have lost 30# just seems like it is going soooo slowly, I don't want it to come to a hault. 25 in 6 weeks is totally different than 30 in 12, I would be happy with that too. I am happy with my sleeve and have no regrets yet, but with the 5 to 7 pound weight loss the past 2 months that scares me esp if your weight loss slows down after 6 months.

That Is spectacular suegirl. I am contemplating doing a jump start diet where basically you go back to day 1 and start over-I think I'm going to do that. I may just only do it for a week or maybe even 2 I don't know but I'm going to start it on the 10th and then when I finish I will post back on here and let y'all know the results.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
