I've read a couple of journals on the issue and they all suggest that zinc supplementation greatly slows down telogen effluvium. I've been taking it since before surgery. I'm going into my 9th week and so far I'm in the clear.

its really important that you get in all your protein and vitamins. Biotin will help slow any loss, and I've heard of many people who are militant about their protein, biotin and other vits, who haven't lost any hair at all....

I've already been taking my multi gummies, and a tiny biotin softgel...easy!

I have experienced a lot of hair loss and have heard about biotin from several. I struggle with pills but for some reason not the Rx vit d. Is your biotin a gel tab? If so where are you finding it?

Wal Mart has the biotin soft gels that are smaller than a tic tac. Real easy to swallow. I take 2 a day.

I lam a year out and have never lost any hair. I was religious about making sure I got my protein in and I still take biotin! Fast weight loss without the protein will definitely make you lose hair, not sure if the biotin helped or not...but I didn't take any chances! lol
