Whats On Your Bucket List?

Recommended Posts

DIrtyGirl is like Tough Mudder for women to raise awareness for breast cancer. In my area it is 11/27 so I will be abe to cross that off my list very soon!

Dirty girl in San Jose in October, baby! It will be my first time doing anything with obstacles. I'm a little hesitant, but heck I won't know if I can do something unless I try. Good luck with ur event in November!

Great question! Things like this keep me motivated!

1) Do the Color Run

2) Do the Tough Mudder

3) Wear Shorts -- I have NEVER EVER worn shorts. EVER - not even as a kid. My mum didn't like that my thighs touched at the top!

4) Be able to endure the physical strain of volunteering in El Salvador this Summer!

5) Disappear for week into the woods of NorCal and not die from exhaustion of lugging my self around!

I have tons more, I just can't seem to think of them!

I have NEVER EVER worn shorts either. Not even as a kid. How sad it that?

1. Playing Tennis again. Learn to play golf

2. Clothes clothes clothes. I've always teased my husband that it's a good thing I'm not thin because I'd been on Oprah confessing my shopping/clothes addiction. I'd love to be able to wear cute Maxi dresses...and actually look cute in it!

3. Go to Europe and be able to do all the walking that is necessary without getting completely exhausted.

4. Maybe take up horseback riding again. I had horses all through my childhood and teenage years and my dream is to one day live in a place where I could keep a couple of horses.

I'm still thinking of other things... I'll get back to you. There are probably hundreds of things!!!!

Here are some more ....

  • Go back to Hawaii, back Kauai and Maui ....and instead of just walking around the secluded hidden beaches than we found, actually play IN the surf and crashing waves....in a bathing suit instead of jeans and shirt.

  • Actually hook back up with childhood and school/college friends who have contacted/found me on Facebook. I'm sure they think I'm a b***h or aloof... the truth is I don't want them to see me. So so sad how this blubber ruins lives...

Keda, you know Danm well your soon to be skinny ass wont be parading in no nude beach lol

I wish I could like this like 20x. SO FUNNY!! :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
