The coordinator sent it as soon as I booked. It is a two week prior diet.

I am also scheduled for Oct. ( 25th) With Dr Lopez. My coordinator is Janese with Alighterme. Who is your coordinator? She told me as soon as she has Sept patients taken care of she would be sending my info.

If I'm not mistaken I believe the doctors are at the same hospital.

I have Dr Garcia on the 10th of sept with ready 4a change. My coordinator Alma sent the entire package even before I scheduled my surgery.

I am scheduled with Dr Garcia Nov 5th and my coordinators said I only needed a 5 day prep. I was thinking I would do the whole 14 day prep anyway though. It can't hurt to be a little lighter before surgery. Have you guys started exercising? I was wondering if cardio or weights was more important pre surgery. People keep saying it will help with recovery. Just wondering if it was referring to strength (weights) or stamina (cardio). Likely I should do both, but I currently have nerve troubles and my right arm/leg go numb when I work out, so not sure I could get both done at the same time.

Its weird how the different coordinators for the same doctors give different pre op instruction.

yeah that is weird! 5 day preop would be awesome! im on my 5th day today, and if that was the case then i would have flew through the 5 day preop diet with out the complaints! really though, the preop diet hasnt been to bad, i think im handling the protien shakes better then i thought i would! Im really wonder what Garcia has in store for my post op diet! In my packet it just says 2 weeks of liquids/soft foods e.i. sugar free pudding/jello, thin soups... but i dont know whats after the 2 weeks...

Yeah, I haven't gotten anything about the post diet yet. I had to ask my coordinators about the pre op diet to get the info. I am not confident if they are right about the 5 day thing, so wil de do 14 days. Anxious to start now, but I still have Almost 8 weeks to go.
