Best Blender?

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm looking for blender suggestions. Ideally I'd like something relatively inexpensive ($60 or less) that isn't ginormous. I'll mainly use it for shakes and purée post-op.

I thought buying a blender would be pretty simple, but 'Geez Louise!', so many choices!!

Magic Bullet works for most shakes if just you....if not, Osterizer. I also got a handheld Cuisinart for work and I kinda like it better. (it also is a mini food processor...).

Looking at your budget & size restriction, I'd have to recomend a Ninja. You can get their smaller one for clost to that price, I have the full size commercial version and with the small carraf it isn't too big.

By far the best is the Hamilton Beach To-go single serving blender. I purchased mine at Walmart for less than $20. FANTASTIC!

I got the hamilton single about two months ago... the motor is already wearing out and it can't handle much ice. =\

I got a baby bullet. Love it's compact size and it comes with cute containers for 2 oz servings.

I love my vitamix!

I can't dissagree that the vitamix is a great blender. My mom has one. But the criteria here was small & under $60. The vitamix is not small, and $500.00 is a far cry from $60.

agree...but why buy 5 or more of the baby blenders over the course of a couple years that last a year or two each when you can spend under 300 for a vitamix that can not only blend but will do 10 times more and will last a lifetime? the vitamix is under 300 bucks

Where do you get a vitamix for under $300?

Because I'd don't have $300 to spend on a blender right now and I want a small, cheap one! I was very specific in my request but thanks anyway.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
